Saṅgha melakukan berbagai aktifitas di dalam Sīmā sehingga aktifitas tersebut menjadi 'sah' secara vinaya, yaitu:

* Pentabisan Bhikkhu

* Pemurnian sila bhikkhu

* Sebagai tempat Uposatha

* dan berbagai aktifitas Saṅgha lainnya


Ketika Sīmā dibuat, maka Sīmā tersebut akan bertahan selama masa Ajaran Buddha tetap lestari.


Catatan:

* Dana tidak dikumpulkan oleh Bhikkhu atau Sāmaṇera manapun, dalam bentuk apapun dan dengan cara apapun, baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung.

* Dana tidak diterima oleh Bhikkhu atau Sāmaṇera manapun, dalam bentuk apapun dan dengan cara apapun, baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung.

* Dana tidak bersumber dari yayasan, organisasi, atau kelompok yang didirikan, dikelola, dan didanai oleh Bhikkhu atau Sāmaṇera manapun, dalam bentuk apapun dan dengan cara apapun, baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung.

* Dana hanya termasuk dana yang dikumpulkan dari umat dan diterima oleh umat, tanpa anjuran, atau secara lisan, tulisan atau isyarat apapun, baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung oleh Bhikkhu atau Sāmaṇera manapun.
